Who is eligible to use Affirm?

To be eligible to use Affirm, you MUST meet the following requirements:


  • Be a resident of the United States (including U.S. territories)
  • Be at least 18 years of age (19 if you are a ward of the state in Nebraska)
  • Have a valid Social Security Number (SSN)
  • Have a U.S.-registered phone number that can receive SMS text messages
